Affiliated college present in Vellore, Tamil Nadu, The Vellore Polytechnic College was founded in the year 2010. The institute is recognised by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and the institute offers diploma in different fields of engineering.

This college is located on a campus of 5 acres and the total enrolled students including both under graduate and post graduate stands at 740 and a team of faculty consists of 7 members. This college offers a versatile number of full time and part time diploma programmes to meet different educational requirements of the students.

Vellore Polytechnic College has many infrastructures that have been put in place to improve the learning environment of the learners. A well-stocked library stands as an information centre with books, journal newspapers and periodicals of different subjects on display.

GGC is a sporting college with adequate facilities for physical activities such as Kabaddi, Kho-kho, Football and Athletics. Computer laboratory and communication laboratory are also available to facilitate student in all computerised activities and to provide result-oriented personnel of the contemporary business world.

There is an auditorium for conferences and seminars, a canteen with cheap means for students and bus services that are free to students running in eight routes. Furthermore, the college has well-equipped laboratories and workshops so as our students to be exposed fully in their line of specialised areas. Vellore Polytechnic College offers eight diploma programmes in total, including both day and evening classes.

While the full-time programmes take three years, the part-time courses take the learners four years to complete. The institute offers six regular Diploma courses and two evening diploma courses in Engineering fields. The authorised number of students in total for all courses is 570, proving the Colleges possibility to admit a vast number of students wishing to become engineers.
