Admission to UCSTA follows a rigorous, merit-based process. For B. Tech programs, admission relies heavily on scores from the West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination (WBJEE). M. Tech admissions, on the other hand, consider Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) scores. The college also evaluates scores from other relevant entrance exams for different courses.
