Loreto College Kolkata is a women’s college established in 1912. The Loreto College offers Four Year degrees and a three Year Multi-Disciplinary Course and two year programmes offering a wide range of Major, Minor and Interdisciplinary subjects. In continuance of its efforts towards all round development of its students, Value Education forms an integral part of the curriculum alongside various Certificate Courses.

Loreto College is affiliated to the University of Calcutta and recognised by the University Grants Commission.

Admissions into UG are merit based and scores of entrance exam are considered for PG and BEd programmes. There are several extracurricular activities nurtured by Loreto College, through several societies like Dramatics, Debating, library, Literary and Leadership, and training society.
