Erode Institute of Chemical Technology Polytechnic College, Avinashi

Erode Institute of Chemical Technology Polytechnic College was established in 1983 to provide education and training for students at Avinashi, Tamil Nadu. This is a co-educational polytechnic college having its area of operation in a 25. 92 acres of land is offering a wide variety of diploma courses in different fields of engineering.

Presently, EICTPC offers an opportunity of admission to a total of 89 students and a faculty of 24 members. Erode Institute of Chemical Technology Polytechnic College encompasses many functional and comfortable facilities to facilitate teaching learning process among the students. College library functions as information center, which helps students gain the necessary knowledge and important sources.

Modern laboratories are available to each department so that students will have the practical experience in doing actual tests. The has well developed facet in IT which help the students to update themselves according to modern technologies. Therefore, for purposes of promoting and achieving an all-round development of the students, EICTPC has made available, sporting facilities as well as a fitness center.

The institute currently has a total of nine full-time diploma courses and all the courses offered takes three years.

These programmes ranges from the basic engineering disciplines namely Chemical Engineering , Computer Engineering, Textile Processing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering , Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering, Petro Chemical Engineering Automobile Engineering and Apparel Technology Engineering.

The admission process at EICTPC is open and easy in order to allow any interested students to take up their dreams. Normally for entrance in the polytechnic colleges, academics showing interest in appropriate subjects and the entrance examination provide the basic requirements.
