Ayyappa Polytechnic College is one of the reputed educational institutions for aspiring engineer located at Cuddalore, Tamil Nadu which was started with its journey from 1997. This affiliated college is located in a vast land area of 5. 17 acres and has carved a niche for technical education.

This institution also accredits some of its programme by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) of India, and to satisfy the emerging demand of the demands of the industry, Ayyappa Polytechnic College provides diploma programs. Thus total enrolment of students in the college is 868 with faculty of 53 makes it good place to learn and come with new dimensions.

Ayyappa Polytechnic College has some of the most venerable facilities that enhance educational experience of the students. The essence of any college learning resources is the college library, which is equipped with nearly 3000 titles and 12500 volumes of books and other documents in engineering and technology.

With 10 computers connected to the local area network, the library provides internet facilities for students and staff for educational purposes only. The campus also has laboratories for each of the departments to enable the students take practicals that are so much important in their technical learning.

In addition to these, the classrooms are equipped with teaching aids, in support of conducting seminars, project orials, guest lectures and developmental skill based workshops. The college has a health section to ensure that students receive appropriate medical attention at any one time with a standby emergency van.

This college has offered four full time diploma programs and all the program offered here have three years duration only. These courses focus all disciplines of engineering taking time to equip every engineering student with the fundamental knowledge within their respective disciplines.

The diploma courses which were offered include Mechanical Engineering, Automobile Engineering , Electrical and Electronics Engineering and Mechatronics Engineering .
