Arumugam Pillai Seethai Ammal College, a duly affiliated college, is recognised by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC), and the concerned campus is an expanse of 87 acres. APSAC provides various options among 12 degrees for a total of 2,334 students. The college has enrolled equal numbers of both sexes, with 1393 female students and 867 male students.

Currently, APSAC has a faculty strength of 79 and maintains the quality of education and individual focus on the students. The Arumugam Pillai Seethai Ammal College has many up-to-date gear to help facilitate the learning process of the students it serves.

A library is fully equipped with textbooks, reference books, competitive books, exam materials and e-resources and digital resources which help in academic enhancement and research sections. APSAC gives priority to technology as manifested in its newly established computer centre complete with modern Pentium machines and computer software to enable students to gain practical experience in information technology.

It also houses well-equipped laboratories for all the departments so as to encourage practical sessions. APSAC has a wide range of programmes, including the undergraduate and postgraduate programmes. In total, the college offers 28 courses; among, a few of the most demanding and general courses are BA English Literature , BA Economics, BBA, B. Sc Computer Science, M. Sc, and M. Phil, etc.

It also runs postgraduate courses, leading to the award of Doctor of Philosophy in subjects such as economics, English, mathematics, commerce, and business administration. Besides, APSAC offers diploma courses and vocational programmes, including B. Voc Software Development and Banking and Financial Services.
