Al-Ameen College, Edathala

The Al-Ameen College, Edathala was established in 1981 located in Aluva, Ernakulam district of Kerala and is an Affiliated college. Based on a 25 acres of land this education institution is accredited by National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC). The present course catalog of the college is more inclusive of 16 courses from nine different degree programmes serving 1,415 total student enrollees.

Infact the faculty strength of Al-Ameen college of Management Sciences is 78 which is a desirable student faculty ratio. Finally, the institution also provides equal chances for both girls and boys because 843 out of 1491 students are girls, and 648 students are boys. The Al-Ameen College provides a range of facilities in preparation for the student’s practice and overall learning.

The library has access to over 188000 books of which the subscription to newspapers and magazines are offered in many fields of specialty. From students’ perspective, the University has a commodious ladies’ hostels for 100 women with study room, dinning hall and computers with internet. Suggestions: The college IT structure is very good which supports today learning process.

An administrative block, plains, and luxurious accommodation, a combination of Convocation hall with an 8oo – seating capacity that acts as the venue for events/ seminars amongst many others contribute to the setup. Football, kabaddi, basketball etc are played in the college campus facility for outdoor games, where as indoor games are available at recreation zone.

The college as well has a gym, health centre, and other kinds of practical laboratories for practical purposes. The courses offered in Al-Ameen College include almost all the faculties of a normal College. The institution offers sixteen courses of programmes at both levels, undergraduate and postgraduate level. These include full time courses in arts, science, commerce/management streams.

College also has intake capacity of 1,415 in total from all classes. Some of the popular under graduate courses are B. Com in Computer Applications and Finance & Taxation, BBA , BCA, B. Sc in Physics / Chemistry / Biotechnology and so on. On the post graduate level the college offers courses such M. Sc in Physics , Mathematics and Computer Science and M. Com in Finance and Taxation.
