In a family, if one son and one daughter are available then the girl child will not be considered for scholarship under the scheme. Girl students up to the age of 30 years at the time of admission in PG courses are eligible. The scheme is applicable to such single girl child who have been taken admission to regular, full-time first-year Master’s Degree course in any designated university or a postgraduate college.

This scholarship is available to PG-I year students only. Admission to PG Courses in Distance education mode is not covered under the scheme. Merit Cum Means Scholarship for Professional and Technical Course Must belong to Minority communities (Muslims, Sikhs, Christians, Buddhists, Jain and Parsis/Zoroastrians).

Must be pursuing a technical or professional course at the undergraduate or postgraduate level from a recognised institution. Must have secured at least 50% marks or equivalent grade in the previous final examination. Must belong to a family where the annual income is not more than Rs. 2. 50 lakh from all sources.

Must get admission based on the competitive entrance examination or must have scored at least 50% in class 12 or graduation (in case of direct admission). Post Matric Scholarship Scheme Applicants must belong to a minority community as notified by the Government of India. These include Muslims, Sikhs, Christians, Buddhists, Zoroastrians (Parsis) and Jains. The candidates must be studying in class 11 or above.

Thus, the students studying in class 11,12, graduate, postgraduate, technical or vocational courses, M. Phil or PhD are eligible to apply for this scholarship. Students applying for this MOMA scholarship should have scored a minimum of 50% marks or equivalent grades in the previous final examination. The annual family income of the candidate’s parents/guardian should not exceed Rs. 2 lakh.

This annual income comprises of total income from all the sources. SC/ ST/ OEC/ OBC Scholarships The applicant should be a domicile of Kerala state. Students studying in the post-matriculation level of study from any recognised college/ board are eligible to apply. The applicants should not have an attendance of less than 75% at the end of each month.
