The Vaugh Institute of Agricultural Engineering and Technology, more commonly known as VIAET, is a constituent college based in Allahabad within Uttar Pradesh and was established in 1942. VIAET, accredited by ICAR, offers a wide array of programmes concerning agricultural engineering and related fields. The institute has a faculty strength of 103 and offers 57 courses in 7 degree levels.
Infrastructure facilities include hostels and support modern facilities to develop academic and personal skills. Also, this institute had provided separate hostel accommodation for both boys and girls and has maintained comfortable living conditions.

The undergraduate programmes, at the top, are B. Tech in Agricultural Engineering and BTech in Food Technology with an intake of 120 students each. Other programmes are BTech in Mechanical Engineering , Electronics and Communication Engineering, and Computer Science and Engineering with 60 seats each. The postgraduate levels, too, were offered under various specialised M. Tech programmes with an intake of 10 to 40.

Tech Electrical Engineering 60 - The admission process at VIAET involves choosing able and motivated students. The admission procedure for its different courses, but generally, in the case of the programmes offered in engineering, national or state level entrance examination scores are taken into consideration. The institute has to accept the scores of exams such as JEE Main for B. Tech and GATE for M. Tech.
