The University of Agricultural Sciences (UAS Dharwad) was established in 1986, and it has been recognised by the UGC. The University of Agricultural Sciences Dharwad offers courses at three levels in various specialisations.
University of Agricultural Sciences Dharwad courses are offered in the fields of sciences, management and business administration , arts, humanities, and social sciences, and animation and design . The University of Agricultural Sciences Dharwad courses include B. Sc (Hons) , MBA, M. Sc , and PhD .
The UAS Dharwad UG admissions consider valid scores in the KCET entrance examination conducted by Karnataka Examinations or by the ICAR. UAS Dharwad admissions are done based on the scores obtained in the entrance exam and past academic performance. The University of Agricultural Sciences Dharwad provides scholarships who have high academic records.

Students must be admitted in first year diploma/undergraduate degree level programmes/courses in AICTE approved Institutions. An amount of Rs.
30,000/- or the actual tuition fees paid, whichever is less. Contingency allowance of Rs 2000/per month for ten months. Scheme of 'Merit cum Means Based Scholarship' For Students Belonging to The Minority Communities Scholarship will be awarded to the students who have secured more than 50% marks or equivalent grade in the previous final examination.
The annual income of the family from all sources should not exceed Rs. 2. 50 lakhs per annum. An amount of Rs. 20,000/- per annum. Scheme of 'Post Matric Scholarship' For Students Belonging to The Minority Communities Scholarship will be awarded to the students who have secured more than 50% marks or equivalent grade in the previous final examination. The annual family income should not exceed Rs. 2 lakhs per annum.
The students must be admitted for first year diploma/undergraduate degree level programmes/courses in AICTE approved Institutions. The admission and tuition fee for UG & PG level is Rs. 3,000/- per annum.
