Scholarships are offered to students who have done academically well in the past. UKA Tarsadia University scholarships are also offered to needy and deserving students. UKA Tarsadia University scholarships help students to achieve academic excellence. The university offers a total of five scholarships to its students- Shri B. U. Patel Research Fellowship, UTU Research Promotion Grant, Shri B. U.
Patel Scholarship, UTU Alumni Association Scholarship, and Diwaliba Scholarship. In addition, the University is registered and recognised on the National Scholarship Portal. Thus students studying at UKA Tarsadia University are eligible for both state and central government scholarships under any ministry. The details of UKA Tarsadia University scholarships are given below: Shri B.
U Patel Research Fellowship - This scholarship is offered to attract candidates who are highly qualified and motivated to earn a doctorate and apply for teaching positions in the Technical Education system. An amount of Rs 12,000 per month is offered to the candidates.
UTU Research Promotion Grant (for young researchers)- This scholarship is offered to promote research in engineering, applied sciences, pharmacy, management, computer science, and innovations in established and newer technologies in the University's constituent institutes, as well as to generate Master's and Doctoral degree candidates to supplement the country's supply of research experience faculty and research personnel.
The limit of the scholarship for Minor Projects is Rs 25,000 and major projects are Rs 1,00,000. Shri B. U Patel Research Fellowship (for undergraduate and postgraduate students)- This scholarship is awarded to highly qualified economically backward students to pursue their bachelor’s and post graduate degree.
The eligibility criteria for the scholarships are as follows: The annual income of the family of the students from all sources must not exceed Rs 2,00,000 per annum. The candidate must be pursuing at UKA Tarsadia University only. The candidate must have passed the qualifying examination with first division and in the first attempt.
UTU Alumni Association Scholarship- This scholarship is awarded to the first year for undergraduate and postgraduate courses. The scholarship is awarded based on merit of the first semester and financial background. Only 1 scholarship is awarded programme wise on the basis of SGPA of sem 1 (75%) and financial background (25%).
It must be noted that students getting any other scholarship from the university or outside are not eligible for this scholarship. Diwaliba Scholarship- This scholarship is given to students who are pursuing a polytechnic from the university. The highest amount of scholarship was Rs 18,000 and the lowest amount of scholarship was Rs 7,500.
