Tamil Nadu College of Engineering Coimbatore, now popularly known as TNCE, was incepted in 1984. This affiliated college is situated in Karumathampatti in Coimbatore, and it occupies a total area of land of about 55 acres. TNCE is accredited with the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), and they teach 13 different courses from four different degree levels.
The total number of student enrolments is 615, and it is affiliated with a member of the teaching staff of 71. TNCE has a diverse course offering in engineering, technology, and management that addresses the dynamic demand of the industry and educational sectors. In students’ affairs, Tamil Nadu College of Engineering works for creating a suitable learning environment with necessary facilities. TNCE has hostel facilities for boys and girls that are fully furnished and possess all modern facilities, including Wi-Fi. The boys’ hostel has a capacity of 690 students, while that of the girls' hostel is 650 students.
The campus includes a library stocked with more than 70,500 books and 28,000 titles as an integral source of information for campus users. In the same regard, in the college, there is a medical facility dispensary and a fully fledged 24-hour ambulance service for health and wellness.
Playgrounds have been provided to encourage people under indoor and outdoor packages to indulge in sporting activities to undertake their health needs. To foster team spirit, games and other sports facilities have been provided inside and outside the compound. TNCE provides all the types of learning programmes for undergraduate and postgraduate level education.
