Srinivasan Medical College and Hospital, Tiruchirappalli, were brought into existence in 2021, which makes them a relatively young medical college in India. This constituent college is in Tamil Nadu and is recognised by the National Medical Commission (NMC), which guarantees the college to be on par with the government norms for medical education.

Situated on a vast piece of land of about twenty-five acres, the institute provides only three courses of study. The courses are MBBS, with an enrolment of only one hundred and fifty; MD in Community Medicine and MS ENT, with an enrolment of 3 seats each. The college, at present, has a faculty of 58 members who can assure small section discussions to encourage an effective learning atmosphere.

Srinivasan Medical College and Hospital takes utmost responsibility for offering a full learning experience backed by different facilities for academic and co-curricular activities. The institute has two different hostels for boys as well as for girls to provide the students with a comfortable stay away from their homes.

Situated separately for the boys, the hostel has available well-furnished and ventilated rooms for single, double, and triple sharing. Likewise, the girls’ hostel has rooms for rent with air conditioning and three choices of occupants. These two hostels are very sensitive in the provision of hygiene and nutrition. It also provides residents with a constant supply of treated drinking water at the campus.

Srinivasan Medical College and Hospital presents three programmes , the courses are MBBS, MD in Community Medicine , and MS ENT degrees. The college has an intake capacity approved for 156 students in all three programmes, which indicates the ability of this institution to produce a large number of medical professionals in society in future years.
