Srinivasa Ramanujan Centre, Thanjavur, India, was founded in 2000 and is one of the premier constituent colleges in the region. Apart from being a co-educational school, this school occupies a total land area of 9. 28 acres, and it provides more than twenty courses in eight different programmes.

This centre has a total student enrolment of 3,653 students and 138 faculty members, which allows students to experience a favourable teaching environment. Accredited by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), the institute offers skill development in Engineering, Sciences and Management specialisations in Computer Science, Electronics, mathematics, etc.

Srinivasa Ramanujan Centre is affiliated with Shanmugha Arts Science Technology Research and Academy (SASTRA), Thanjavur . The campus has modern laboratory facilities, an event and seminar hall and a canteen for consumables.

Meanwhile, for physical education and total person development, the centre provides sports for indoor and outdoor games, including a gym. Srinivasa Ramanujan Centre provides various academic programmes that meet various needs of learners and career paths. These include the full-time undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral programmes in 35 courses offered at the institute.

They include engineering, computer science, commerce, management, and even the pure sciences, to name but a few. Some of the undergraduate courses are B. Tech in Computer Science & Engineering and Electronics & Communication Engineering, whereas the postgraduate courses are M. Sc. ( Mathematics , Computer Science, Biochemistry and so on).
