Students having a strong academic record are eligible for scholarships. Needy and deserving students can also apply for Sri Siddhartha Academy of Higher Education scholarships. Scholarships provide motivation and support to students who lack the financial resources to complete their studies. Furthermore, students at the university are eligible to apply for a variety of state and national scholarships.
Post Matric Scholarship, offered by the Ministry of Minority Affairs, Government of India, and Central Sector Scheme of Scholarship for College and University Students, offered by the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Department of Higher Education, are two scholarship schemes that students can apply for. The course being pursued should be a minimum of 1 year. The applicant should have at least 50% in the last class/board examination. The parental income should not exceed Rs. 2 lakhs per annum for Post Matric Scholarship. Admission and tuition fee for UG & PG level: Rs. 3,000 per annum (both Hosteller & Day Scholar).
Central Sector Scheme of Scholarship for College and University students Ministry of Human Resource Development, Department of Higher Education Applicants who are above 80th percentile of successful candidates in the relevant stream from the respective board of examination in class XII of 10+2 pattern or equivalent and pursuing regular courses.
Students should not be availing the benefit of any other scholarship scheme including State run scholarship schemes/Fee waiver and reimbursement scheme. Students pursuing professional courses (five years)/Integrated course would get Rs. 20000 per annum in the 4th and 5th year.
