Smt Kandukuri Rajyalakshmi College for Women, Rajamahendravaram was established on September 2, 1968. SKR College for Women was established by Smt. Addepalli Vivekananda Devi, an educationalist and social worker and Sri Krovvidi Lingaraju, a freedom fighter. SKR College for Women is affiliated to the Adikavi Nannayya University, Andhra Pradesh .
