SKP Institute of Technology, Tiruvannamalai, set up in 1999, is an affiliated college in the State of Tamil Nadu, India. All of the programmes are approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) recognised engineering degree programmes are offered by the institute.

With a total strength of students enrolled for different programmes being 1655, faculty in the institution is 203, this makes SKP Institute of Technology to provide required environment for technical education. The campus is located on NH 66 at Somasipadi Post Chinnakangiyanur spread in the area forging its student with modern facilities.

SKP Institute of Technology is equipped with numerous facilities that are intended to help to facilitate learning and personal development of the learner. The facility has a section for boys and a section for girls within the campus with facilities such as spacious recreation and study rooms, internet connection and more.

They have a functional gym, a library containing over 65000 books and an internet connection place. The following resources exist within the college: a first aid station and a health centre. There are well-facilitated courts for basketball, volley ball, football, cricket , badminton and many more facilities include a physical education department as well.

The IT structure is solid including server-age, computerised professional lab, and highly protected networking facility. For refreshment a clean canteen is available which provides snacking items and daily requisites. The institute also provides air conditioned auditoriums for conferences and seminars, of which the main auditorium with 300 seating capacity and open air auditorium of 2500.

SKP Institute of Technology houses four full-time engineering programmes of undergraduate level spread across various areas of specialisation. The institute offers a total of 600 seats across all offered programmes but and it serve the intent of developing the number of aspiring engineers, offering quality educational facility.

The total course are 15 programmes in BE in Electronics and Communication Engineering , Mechanical, Electrical and Electronics , Civil, B. Tech in Information Technology, ME VLSI Design, MBA course , etc.
