Sir Syed Institute for Technical Studies, Taliparamba (SSITS Taliparamba) started in 2002 is among the reputed institution of technical and higher learning. Established in Kannur, Kerala, this affiliated college occupies a built-up area of 30,000 sq meters with a 6 acre campus spread across many programmes.

SSITS, Taliparamba has a student strength of 1424 and faculty strength of 76 among which major emphasis is given for complete education for the students of the region. The institute provides 13 courses in five degrees all in the areas of Management Commerce, Science and Arts at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels of studies.

SSITS Taliparamba has many facilities aimed at improving the learning ability of the students. The institute has accommodated different hostels for boys and girls who need to be accommodated at the institute. For boys there is the Malik Deenar hostel, for the female students and ladies there is the ladies’ hostel.

Com offered with specialisations in Cooperation , Computer Application, Finance and Marketing B. Sc offered with the specialising Biochemistry , Microbiology, Biotechnology Computer Science & Psychology , BA in English & Economics .

While at postgraduate level, the institute offers M. Sc programmes in Biotechnology , Microbiology and Computer Science. Given this degree of dispersion, this course is suitable for every student who has any special requests in terms of subjects and careers.
