Shri Narayan Prasad Awasthi Government Ayurved College, Raipur, was established in the year 1950. This affiliated college is located near RK College on the Great Eastern Road, sprawling over an area of 89 acres. Candidates have to qualify for the BAMS course in the National Eligibility and Entrance Test (NEET).

MD and MS courses at the postgraduate level are offered in accordance with the All India AYUSH Post Graduate Entrance Test. For the diploma course, marks obtained in the +2 examination with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology subjects from the Higher Secondary Examinations conducted by the Chhattisgarh Government will be considered.
