Shri B. M. Patil Medical College Hospital & Research Centre, Vijayapura, Karnataka, established in the year 1986, is one of the leading private medical college. This constituent college affiliated to the NMC provides numerous degree medical courses at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels. Located on 45 acres of land, the college has equipped modern amenities and a committed staff of 218 teachers.

A cross section of twenty five courses in five degree programmes are offered in the institution and it is enriched with 328 post graduate students with reasonable ratio of male to female students at 48% and 52% respectively.
