Shri L. R. Tiwari College of Engineering, Thane, Maharashtra was established in the year 2010 under the aegis of Rayat Shikshan Sanstha. This affiliated college is approved by All India Council for Technical Education and offers a wide range of courses in engineering. SLRTCE has a sprawling 3. 5-acre campus with a total student enrolment of 1,674 and a faculty strength of 54.

The institute offers 8 courses across 2 degrees, which are oriented towards different engineering fields. SLRTCE is accredited by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council, thus adhering to the concept of quality education.
