Saraswathi Narayanan College was started in the year 1966 and is at present, an autonomous college situated near Madurai Airport, Madurai, Tamil Nadu, India. The college is a comprehensive institution occupying a 66-acre area in terms of area and population; it has 2160 students. An institution offers various educations goals with 44 courses in 10 degree programmes.

The college has 65 qualified teachers on its faculty list to keep student-teacher ratio in a favourable condition. Saraswathi Narayanan College is an NAAC accredited college that was established to offer quality education in the region. Saraswathi Narayanan College is focused on students education and has invested in numerous infrastructures for improved students learning.

It has good library facilities, laboratory and Information Technology facilities for students’ academic works. In connection with the physical condition of students, there is a possibility in the college to play indoor games and physical exercise by having a ground and gym. Sc in Mathematics , Chemistry and Botany, M. Com . The institution also offers M. Phil in different fields also offers Ph. D in English , Economics, Mathematics , Commerce, Botany and Chemistry. Thus the admission policy at Saraswathi Narayanan College is equally but independently allowed with merit basis.
