Sagar Institute of Research and Technology (SIRT) is one of the leading self-financed institutions founded in the year 2005 in Indore (MP). Located on more than 10. 33 acres of land, SIRT has graduated into one of the leading institutions offering engineering education in the region.

Situated as a constituent college, the institute awards a number of undergraduate engineering programmes to students coming from different backgrounds. This college boasts of 915 student enrolments and 59 members of faculty; hence, it offers a student-teacher ratio that supports quality delivery of courses.

SIRT is affiliated with SAGE University, Indore , andSagar Institute of Research and Technology has modern and advanced facilities in place to supplement learning and student development in this organism. The library of the institute is a knowledge centre containing more than 15000 books for BE students, 20 numbers of national and international journals and 20 magazines.

The infrastructural amenities that the institution has for the overall development of the students in activity are outstanding; the school has well-developed volleyball courts for boys and girls separately, a basketball ground and clinic playfield for cricket and football, and indoor game facilities such as table tennis, carrom board and chess sets.

Another piece of evidence of that is the good availability and provision of sporting facilities, such as a well-equipped gym, to encourage the health of students. Course offerings at SIRT are broad and complete, with five full-time BE programmes on board as of date.

These include BE in Computer Science and Engineering , Mechanical Engineering, Information Technology , Electronics & Communications Engineering and Civil Engineering . All these programmes are four-year full-time courses through which the students are to be provided with both the theoretical concepts as well as practical experience required to meet the new challenges of the world of technology in the future.

The total number of students that the institute is capable of admitting in total composite programmes is 915, which has always been followed to admit only the number of students per batch that can help concentrate in their studies. It is clear that the admission process at SIRT is rather strict and based mainly on the merits of the candidates.

Each department of the institute has well-equipped laboratories, such as the basic civil engineering laboratory, which provides practical training. An auditorium is a hall through which several events and seminars take place This facilitates academic and cultural development in the society.
