Rural Technology and Engineering Society’ s Rural Engineering College Hulkoti (RECH), was established in the year 1980 located in the Karnataka state which is in the southern part of India. Sited in Hulkoti, this affiliated college has been in the business of charting out the direction of engineering education for more than two generations. Located on a vast land of 46.
34 acre, RECH is imparting multi disciplines of engineering to its 752 students strength. This college currently stands with faculty of 82 dedicated teachers that guarantees a good student teacher ratio. Very rightly, RECH has diversified and offers six specialised B. Tech programmes that are as per the modern day requirements.
That the institution believes and provides quality education is evident from the accreditation given to the school by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) and approval from the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). RECH has an aggregate enrolment of 752 students in all programmes to increase the opportunity of maintaining a diversified classroom.
Again, the fact that the institution is producing engineers with multidimensional skills and knowledge is evidenced by the computer science and engineering, electronics and communication engineering civil engineering, mechanical engineering, automobile engineering, textile engineering among others.
Therefore, the admission process of RECH is unbiased and follows all the standards conducted by the KEA and COMEDK for admitting students. Prospective students can secure admission through three primary channels: 45% of the seats are filled through KCET conducted by KEA, 30% through COMEDK UGET and 25% are management quota seats.
