Rimuli College Keonjhar, established in the year 1982 is an affiliated college at Rimuli, Keonjhar District,Odisha. Situated over an area of 8. 97 acres, the institution provides a multiple number of undergraduate programmes.

The institution called Rimuli College has an ambitious goal of enrolment of 1,250 students at once and has a faculty of 29 members Most importantly it offers a good learning atmosphere for the students. The college has department of Arts, Science, and Commerce; and offers 16 courses in six degree programmes.

The college also supports laboratory facilities for practice, IT facilities for technical competency, reprographic service, and other feasible structures like parking area for delivering convenience. According to the current information, the college provides a total of sixteen courses , and all of them are total-time courses. This include the Bachelor of Arts (BA), Bachelor of Science (B.

Sc) as well as Bachelor of Commerce (B. Com) with different fields of study. BA is the most popular programme with an intake capacity of 160 while B. Sc Bio Science and B. Sc Physical Science the least with 48 capacity each. The B. Com programme has a carrying capacity of sixty four students.

Besides the above, a number of honors subjects are offered by the college in Mathematics, Political Science, Indian History, Sanskrit, Chemistry, Physics, Zoology and Odia. There are also self-financed honors courses in Economics and English. Admission to Rimuli College is mostly on the basis of merit, or excellence, in particular performace areas in academic work.

The students to join the programme are chosen based on their performance scores in the qualification examinations.
