Regional Institute of Paramedical and Nursing Sciences, Aizawl

The Regional Institute of Paramedical and Nursing Sciences, as the name suggests, is a regional institute for paramedical and nursing sciences in Aizawl, Mizoram, which is an experienced and reputed institute of healthcare professional training. This institute was founded in 1996, and it is a co-educational institute which is making the future of numerous healthcare professionals.

RIPANS is a large campus functioning on 13. 09 acres of land and offers a number of specialised programmes in nursing and paramedical sciences. The education institute accommodates a total student enrolment of 690 and has a qualified and dedicated staff of 125. The INC combined with the AICTE sanction RIPANS as a premier educational institute of northeastern India.

Facilities available to the students at the Regional Institute of Paramedical and Nursing Sciences include a variety of facilities which complement the learning activities of the students. RIPANS has many courses to offer that are equivalent to every other course of study in the health facility.

This institute offers 14 courses within 5 different degree programmes, and all are categorised as full-time. These include underpart B. Sc Nursing, B. Pharma, BMLT (Bachelor of Medical Laboratory Technology), and B. Sc RA&IT (Radiography and Imaging Technology). M.

Pharma is offered at the postgraduate level in pharmaceutical chemistry, pharmaceutics, pharmacognosy and phytochemistry, and pharmacology, all under RIPANS. For all the courses, the institute has been approved to admit 690 students, a strategy the institute uses in order to ensure that it does not compromise on the quality of education offered.

The admission at RIPANS is aimed at choosing the most talented students for its programmes. As much as certain examinations are not described in detail, students may be admitted based on academic accomplishment and possibly entrance tests.
