Overview
Knwdle's West zone groups Maharashtra, Gujarat, Goa, Dadra and Nagar Haveli and Daman and Diu, and Rajasthan. This is a deliberate departure from the real, statutory Western Zonal Council, which covers Goa, Gujarat and Maharashtra but places Rajasthan in the Northern Zonal Council instead — we group Rajasthan here for geographic comparison purposes, not administrative accuracy. Tracked institutes include IIT Bombay (Maharashtra, the second IIT established, in 1958), IIT Gandhinagar (Gujarat) and IIT Jodhpur (Rajasthan).
Every state above still earns its own dedicated /colleges/state page once it clears Knwdle's three-institute threshold. This zone page adds a state-by-state comparison table on top of that — it doesn't replace any state's own page.
