Rajiv Gandhi University of Knowledge Technologies, Basar is a public state university established in 2014. It is formerly known as IIIT Basar and NAAC has accredited it with a C grade. RGUKT Basar offers a total of around 12 courses, out of which 7 are Integrated B. Tech courses and the other 5 are M. Tech courses in various specialisations. RGUKT offers courses at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels.

IIIT Basar offers B. Tech Integrated and M. Tech programmes. Candidates should appear for GATE/ TS PGECET before applying for admission for the desired course. RGUKT Basar admissions are done based on the scores secured in the entrance exam and past academic performance. RGUKT offers placements for students on campus. The RGUKT placements are offered by top companies.
