Punjab Institute of Management and Technology (PIMT), the affiliated college was founded in 1997 in Gobindgarh, Punjab. It is an AICTE recognised institution and is a centre that offers multi disciplinary courses. PIMT is located on a sprawling 5 acre campus and has an enrolled student strength of thirty six students and it has a faculty of twenty members.
The institute runs 10 courses in nine under graduate and post graduate programmes among which MBA, MCA, BCA, BSc Agriculture Hons are well demanded. Punjab Institute of Management and Technology has various amenities that will improve the experience of the student. There are also provided the campus facilities for the students consisted of boys and girls hostels to provide convenience to out station students.
A modern equipped library provides knowledge and IT facility caters to today’s requirement. Student Health is well catered for with a Medical Facility that provides first aid services to the students of the institute.. For the employee’s health and recreations purposes, PIMT offers a gym and participate in different sport activities such as cricket, volley ball, basket ball, badminton and table tennis.
The campus also has facility for conducting auditors, seminars, and practicals which include an auditorium, laboratories, and cafeteria. Similarly, to enhance the transport for the scholars for day usage, PIMT provides transport facilities of its own for the scholars.
According to the data obtained, overall the institute teaches 10 courses , including full-time programmes at the undergraduate and postgraduate degrees, as well as diploma and certificate. The course being offered include; management, computer applications, commerce, tourism, agriculture and medical laboratory science.
