Paschim Guwahati Mahavidyalaya is a co-educational institution founded in the year 1978 at Guwahati in Assam. This affiliated college is accredited by NAAC and imparts various undergraduate and postgraduate levels of study. Com with multiple majors, and, similarly, at the postgraduate level, the institution offers MA courses in Assamese and Political Science.

Admissions to the D. El. Ed. Course shall be made on merit in the qualifying examination and through entrance examination as per the rules framed by the State Government and University.
