Pandian Saraswathi Yadav Engineering College (PSYEC) Sivagangai was established in 2000 by “Hind Rattan” Malaysia S. Pandian with the goal of providing quality technical education to rural and economically weaker students. The college is approved by AICTE, the college spans over 60 acres in a serene, pollution-free environment along the Madurai–Sivagangai Highway.
PSYEC offers full-time undergraduate and postgraduate programmes across various disciplines. The college is affiliated with Anna University , where the undergraduate courses include BE / BTech degrees in Mechanical, Civil, Electrical & Electronics, Electronics & Communication, Computer Science and Engineering, and Information Technology, with an intake ranging from 60 to 120 seats per branch.

The admissions to UG programmes are accepted when the candidates have passed 10+2 examination in science stream with at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) or Passed the Diploma (in Engineering and Technology) examination with at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) as well as TNEA scores are also considered.
Admissions to PG courses are considered when the candidates have passed Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in the relevant field.
