Nehru Mahavidyalaya, Lalitpur

Nehru PG College, Lalitpur, was established in 1968 across the 42-acre expanse of its campus in Govind Nagar, Uttar Pradesh. Since its inception, the affiliated college has become a prominent education institute in the city by catering to the education at the highest quality.

Currently, there are 4,279 enrolled students and 50 teachers in total, who offer a wider specter of courses, including 12 options, at a degree level in six different programs. The institution prides itself on providing quality education in streams such as Arts, Commerce, Science, and Agriculture, suitable to its heterogeneous academic population.

The college has a truly amazing range of facilities designed to support and enhance the whole learning process. This is serviced by a well-stocked library with over 32,000 books, serving as a treasure house of knowledge to the students and faculty alike. It has well-equipped departmental laboratories for practical learning. Student welfare is also looked after by providing separate boys' and girls' hostels.

Every hostel is designed to accommodate 36 students and is mainly offered to first-year B. Sc. Agriculture students. Sports, gymnasium, health centre with first-aid facilities and many other facilities are available on campus, which provides a friendly environment for the all-round development of students. Nehru PG College runs a whole set of undergraduate and postgraduate courses.

The institute offers 12 regular courses that are offered on a full-time basis, of which the most popular ones include B. A . , B. Sc. , B. Com , and many others under M. A. The institute is also serious about agriculture education, for which it has offered courses in B. Sc. Agriculture and M. Sc. in Soil Science and Agricultural Chemistry .

The admission policy at Nehru PG College is presumed to be an inclusive and merit-based one. It considers students' academic performance in the qualifying examinations.
