Nava Nalanda Mahavihara, also known as (NNM Nalanda) is a deemed university under the Ministry of Culture, Government of India. The institute was established in 1951 by the Government of Bihar as a research institute for Pali and Buddhist studies.

The university offers around 22 full-time NNM Nalanda courses in English, Foreign Language, Sanskrit, Hindi, History, Japanese, Philosophy, and Theology.
