National Institute of Technical Teachers Training and Research, Bhopal

National Institute of Technical Teachers Training and Research Bhopal is one of the sixteen NITTTR, situated in the capital of Madhya Pradesh. It was established in the year 1965 by the Ministry of Education, Government of India for teacher training and improving the quality of the entire gamut of Technical Education System.

This college is recognised by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and has an option of undergraduate and postgraduate courses aimed at developing technical professionals’ skills and leadership. NITTR Bhopal provides 24 full time courses. NITTR Bhopal has four BE/B. tech courses, five M. Tech/ME courses, 2 M. Sc courses and one full-time postgraduate programme, namely MBA .

NITTR Bhopal is an affiliated college of Rajiv Gandhi Proudyogiki Vishwavidyalaya Bhopal . The admission process of NITTR Bhopal aimed at enrolling the best candidates to the courses of the university. The admission will be based on the qualifying examinations.

National Institute of Technical Teachers Training and Research provides a rich list of infrastructural facilities that help in favouring the learning process of students. The institute has a vast collection of knowledge at the library where students can go through a number of e-journals which are under INDEST-AICTE Consortia and E-Shodh Sindhu.

NPTEL material available in the library is also useful for the students to establish efficient technological learning. The campus comprises well endowed laboratories such as Web Engineering Lab, Image Processing Lab, and Research & Development Lab. It is located on Science Center Road, near Gandhi Bhavan Polytechnic Chauraha. Bhopal Jn. is the main railway station in the city approximately 6. 5 km to 7 km away from the college and Bhopal Airport is the nearest airport, located approximately 13 km to 15 km from the institute.
