Nalanda Institute of Technology (NIT) was set up in the year 2006 at Chandaka, Bhubaneswar, Odisha is one of the prestigious institute. This college affiliated by AICTE comprised of 32-acre campus provides a vast fleet of engineering and management courses. Student intake capacity of the university is 1,618 and faculty members are 138 so it has a good environment for academic in NIT Chandaka.
Currently it has eleven distinctive courses under four degree programmes and focuses on disciplines of engineering as well as management. Tech specialisation in Thermal Engineering and Computer Science and Engineering Although, the MBA specialisations includes Finance Management, Human Resource Management , Marketing Management and many more. In addition to this, NIT Chandaka has the MCA programme through which student’s masters their Computer Application knowledge.
The total approved intake for all courses is 936 intake where as the Computer science & engineering (B. Tech) has a highest intake of 150. The admission procedures in Nit Chandaka are consequently likewise different relying on the course. B. Tech courses take an entry requirement of those students who pass the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE-Main) that is conducted by the CBSE.
