Nagendra Jha Mahila College of Darbhanga, Bihar was established in the year 1983 at Laheriasarai, one of the surburbs of Darbhanga town. The college is also being accredited by NAAC and offers a wide array of UG programs at the degree level in various disciplines. The college campus spreads over 4 acres, with student enrolment 2,915 and faculty numbered at 67 members.

The institution works toward providing an integrated learning atmosphere and, in this regard, it is established with facilities that help in bridging gaps between both the academic and extra-curricular activities of the students. There is a well-stocked library within the campus, or libraries, providing students with wide reading materials in their field of specializations.
