MAM College, Naugachia

Establishment of MAM College, Naugachia, was in the year 1982. It is a constituent college, and it imparts a wide variety of academic courses, numbering 19, related to two degree types. The enrolment at MAMC is 3,393 students with 21 faculty members. It, therefore, has almost a perfect student-teacher ratio. The facilities are well-maintained for overall learning implementation by the students.

One important feature of this college library is that it has huge collections of reference and textbook books. The library is under the process of computerisation, and it is going to introduce an OPAC system so that students can easily search for a book and get access to it. It has got well-equipped department-based laboratories where students can have practical knowledge in their fields.

This college has well-developed sports facilities that help the students who are in love with sports and physical activities maintain healthy academic and athletic balances. The college provides programmes with honours in BA subjects like Sociology, Sanskrit, Psychology, Political Science, Philosophy, and other Social Sciences for undergraduates in the Arts stream. The Science stream comprises the B. Sc. programmes with Honours in Zoology, Botany, Physics, and Mathematics.
