Malla Reddy Medical College for Women, Hyderabad was started in 2013 and is one of the premier Women medical college in the country. Established in Suraram Hyderabad. This is an affiliated college recognised by the National Medical Commission also known as NMC. The institute’s medical programmes include the MBBS along with many postgraduate disciplines.

The college has a student strength of 286 and the faculty strength is 277 which clearly shows a good student–faculty ratio. Being located at Suraram X Road, Qutbullapur Municipality it creates a favourable environment that can support medical education and research. Malla Reddy Medical College for Women has adopted and established various facilities adequate to serve the academic programmes offered.

Central library of the hospital situated in Calicut and being fully air-conditioned, opens from 9 AM to 12 PM, even on Sundays, consisting of about 7500 books and about 69 journals, 50 of them being of national origin and 19 of international, on different fields of medical specialization.

The college has well-equipped practical laboratories and research laboratories for the student’s practical session and research work. There is availability of Standard and Deluxe hostels, with A. C Susan and non A. C Susan facility for the students, and residential facilities for teaching staff and other employees.

The sporting activities and gym facilities are also provided on the campus with an intention of ensuring student’s health is taken care of in addition, the college has been associated with the 650 bedded Malla Reddy Narayana Multispeciality Hospital where the students get good exposure of Internship.

This teaching hospital also has modern amenities such as emergency service, Intensive Care Unit, Cath lab, Operation theatre facilities, 24/7 student pre-affixed service to prepare them to deal with different challenging medical situation .. Malla Reddy Medical College for Women has a total of 18 courses in three major degrees.

MBBS programmee is the largest programme to have an approved intake of 200 students whereas various programmes such as MD and MS courses have small intake capacity from 1 to 10 respectively. All our courses are full-time and intended to deliver a thorough medical study. The courses include MD in Anatomy , Pharmacology, General Medicine , Paediatrics, Radiology , and so on.

The seats available for the MBBS in Malla Reddy Medical College for Women are as follows: For admission in MBBS course, the students must appear in NEET-UG exam the students only and merit list is prepared on the basis of rank obtained in NEET exam. Postgraduate programmes (MD/MS) have one round of selection through the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test for Post Graduates, NEET-PG .
