Malabar College of Advanced Studies which was initially started in the year 2013 is one of the premier institutions functioning at Vengara, Malappuram district of Kerala. This affiliated college accredited the NAAC provides a wide range of undergraduate courses in different fields.

Located on a premises of 5 acres of land, MCAS has turned into a learning institution to 1,012 enrollees through a staff of 27 faculty members. The college seems to have a balanced sex ratio they have 600 female students and 402 male students in the college. MCAS has 9 courses in 5 different degrees, Business Administration, Multimedia, Computer Applications, English and Travel and Tourism.

Malabar College of Advanced Studies provides the best infrastructure to improve the learning process of the students in the concerned college. The rich library collection is a special educational resource centre designed for students and teachers. MCAS boasts of its present day laboratory with facilities for different subjects mostly in areas of electronics and computers.

To those with sporting and athletic interests, the college boasts of majestic sports amenities. The resources in the information technology environments section reveal that MCAS has excellent information technology facilities to meet the needs of the students and make them have update technologic equipment. The campus also boasts of an active and cheery cafeteria where students are also able to socialise.

An auditorium is used to stage up cultural activities, seminars, and guest speakers to enhance the general college experience. There is a health centre within the college with first aid facilities to make sure that the college’s community isolly protected. Also, MCAS has a good number of alumni which offer useful contacts and realistic opportunities to the learners.

Malabar College of Advanced Studies has got a total of nine undergraduate courses offered and they are all full time programmes. These courses are offered across different fields, and this therefore gives students an opportunity to follow a course of their preference. The college has an intake capacity of one thousand twelve students for all of its courses which will facilitate better students-instructor ratio. B.
