Maharishi Centre for Education Excellence or MCEE, was started in 2001 and is situated in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh. Located on 3. 5-acre land, MCEE has a variety of programmes as offered in various disciplines. This institute is recognised by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE), which makes it deliver quality products in sync with the country’s standard.

MCEE admits 608 students of all levels while having a faculty strength of 21 students and hence has adequate infrastructure for its students. The institute provides 10 courses which are under 8 degrees, mainly in the areas of Management, Computer Applications, Commerce, education, etc. MCEE has adequate modern infrastructures to complement its academic programmes.

The institute has continued to expand its library with more than 18735 books and 654 e-journals with the aim of availing ample opportunities through research to the students. To equip one with current technology, the campus is equipped with modern and fully fitted computer laboratories. In extracurricular activities, MCEE has provisions for indoor and outdoor activities; facilities that include a fully equipped gym.

The institute also has different hostels for boys and girls along with facilities with so many amenities, including Wi-Fi, laundry services, and transport facility 24×7. The institute is delivering a wide area of course as its academic programmes cover full-time programmes in undergrad and post graduate levels. Some of the most popular courses of MCEE are MBA , MCA, BBA , BCA, B. Com. , BA, Integrated BA, B. Ed.

, etc. According to the present-day market, especially management and computer applications are given much importance in the institute. The course of BA B. ED Integrated , with a total intake of 50, is among the specialisations of MCEE that enables young teachers to develop subject content and teaching-methodological competence. This is an affiliated college of Barkatullah University, Bhopal.

The admission requirements at MCEE differ according to the programme. In case of courses like MCA, admissions are through the Directorate of Technical Education (DTE) counseling, undertaken by producing graduation marks. Lacking information on the existing admission model, the BA B. Ed.
