KP National College of Arts and Science, Dindigul

KP National College of Arts and Science, Dindigul, an affiliated college, was started during the academic year 2009 - 2010 at Dindigul district of Tamil Nadu, India. Located on 17 acres of land, the institution provides 25 courses in 11 different degree programmes. In total, the college has an intake capacity of 369 students and has 32 faculty members, which makes or provides an environment to grow academically.

It can be seen that the institution is well established with quality education from it’s diverse courses falling in arts, science and commerce streams. The college offers several state-of-the-art facilities which seek to improve learning environment. The library of the university houses a variety of books, magazine subscriptions, journals for the students and faculty, and internet facilities.

Facilities such as well-equipped chemistry and physics labs provide a practical insight into the working of these departments. The existing information technology development of the college comprises a computer laboratory, which is essential for practical teaching and learning as well as researching.

In order to facilitate the students, the institution offers separate hostel accommodation for males and females in a Victoria environment with clean and comfortably furnished beds to provide healthy accommodation and a well-balanced diet to the students. There are two eating places on campus, one for vegetarians and the other for non-vegetarian students.

There are plenty of sports complexes in order for the students to be able to have balanced student-life involvement. The college also has its transport facilities for transporting students within a radius of 90 kilometres to and from college to avoid unauthorised transport means in case of insecurity.

The faculty of the KP National College of Arts and Science consist a large variety of classes that range from 12 undergraduate programmes 3 postgraduate programmes 2 M. Phil programmes , 1 post graduate diploma and 7 diplomas. The undergraduates include the BBA , B. Com. , B. Sc. in specialisation areas, and the BA programmes, among others.

At the postgraduate level, securing a degree, the student can choose between M. Com. , MA English Literature and M. Sc. Computer Science . The college also provides M. Phil. programmes in Commerce and English stream There are so many reputed university of Bangladesh which provide nursing course.

Also, the institution offers a post graduate diploma course in computer applications and several diploma courses in Applied Areas comprising Tally, Desktop Publishing, Sales and Income Tax Practices. All the courses are taken on a full-time basis as the college fosters an insightful, intensive learning process. For postgraduate programmes, for instance, majority carry a requirement of a relevant bachelor’s degree.

One of the ways through which the institution supports talent is through the Rotaract Club, which seeks to arrange awareness programmes as well as ensure that many students participate in national service. This kind of education and academic direction are supposed to provide students with profound knowledge and make them responsible for future difficulties.
