KLE Society’s BV Bhoomaraddi College of Engineering and Technology, Hubli, begun in 1947, is one of the oldest educational institutes in Karnataka, India. Spread over fifty acres of land, this affiliated college has got the accreditation of the National Board of Accreditation (NBA) and All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE).

With a faculty of 310 members, degree programmes & specialisations include Electrical, Electronics & Communication engineering, Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering, Electronics & Computer Engineering, Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning, VLSI Design, Industry Integrated Electronics and Communication Engineering.

Teaching and learning infrastructure is well endowed and teaching curriculum and programme reflects contemporary market demands. KLE Society’s BV Bhoomaraddi College of Engineering and Technology has a range of facilities that are supposed to improve the learning process and personal growth of the learners.

It has good laboratory facilities for various engineering disciplines; laboratory experience is paramount, for real-life application. A librarian provides documentary research as the library provides books, journals and digital information resources. To the students who seek accommodation, there is a hostel for both male and female students so that they can comfortably live in.

The college is also concern with the physical health and provides quality infrastructure and equipments for sports which include cricket, volley ball and basket ball etc. KLE Society’s BV Bhoomaraddi College of Engineering and Technology provides its students a total of 24 full-time programmes out of which three are programmes in B. E and one in MCA .

The BE programmes comprise tech savvy areas of study, Computer Science and Engineering – Artificial Intelligence, Electronics & Telecommunication – Industry Integrated, Electronics and Electrical Engineering – VLSI Design & Technology . These courses are intended to prepare students for highly desirable marketable skills within today’s workplace environments.

Prospective students seeking admission to any of the BE programmes or B. Arch programme must secure a rank in one of the following entrance examinations: COMED K or Karnataka CET or Joint Entrance Examination or JEE Main as and when required. Relevant programmes for admission at the college also accept the scores of National Aptitude Test in Architecture ( NATA ).

This policy allows many students to make application to the college since they can write several examinations at a time.
