JVR Government College, Sathupally

JVR Government College, Sathupally which was started in 1976 is an affiliated college situated in Khammam district of Andhrapradesh, belongs to newly formed Telangana region. This government backed campus that occupies a total area of 12. 25 acres has a wide degree portfolio for undergraduate and postgraduate students.

At the end of the current academic year, the college has 871 learners in its student population; out of this population 465 are males while 414 are female. The institution has accreditation from the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) an indication of quality education.

Through 3 programmes of study, the JVR Government College has provided students with an opportunity to study 17 courses across the programmes. Some of the facilities available in the college are; The college has so many facilities that are intended to assist in improving the quality of learning. Students are able to use a totally equipped gym, an important resource for physical health.

The library central’s academic writings and materials and provides support to scholarly investigations and pursuits. Any sports lovers are free to enjoy plenty of athletic facilities that are the part of any college to maintain the right balance between studies and physical activity. It also focuses on technology with a good IT venture, making students ready to meet modern technological skills.

Currently, JVR Government College teaches a wide list of fulltime courses offered at the undergraduate and post graduate levels. The institution offers seventeen academic programmes in different disciplines cutting across the Life sciences, Arts and Commerce . At this college, students intake is done through functional admission norms with an added note of merit.
