Jubilee College, Bhurkunda

Jubilee College Bhurkunda, was established in the year 1981, an affiliated college, situated at Patratu, Ramgarh, Jharkhand. The college is located in 9 acres and provides a wide specter of undergraduate courses. Jubilee college has 4,354 student enrolment, and they have 22 members of staff in their teaching faculty.

It is also interesting that the institute has almost equal numbers of female and male students, 59% and 41% respectively. NAAC accredited college offering 23 courses from 5 degree courses mainly in arts and science streams. The college has all the facilities that would in one way or the other compliment the teaching and learning process of the students.

The business library provides text, journals, and periodicals needed in decision making, and the business auditorium is used for many programmes and seminars. The amenities of the campus include a cafeteria and canteen and an extraordinary Information Technology System that comprises of LCD projectors, and smart classrooms.

Sports freaks can have both indoor and outdoor activities with available facilities for badminton, TT, cricket etc, and play grounds for hockey etc. To support practical learning and research, the college has laboratories for physics, chemistry, zoology, botany, computer science, psychology geography and home science.

Jubilee College has a diverse programme that comprise of various full-time undergraduate courses namely 23. These extends across field of Arts, Science and Commerce including the Bachelor of Arts ( BA ), Bachelor of Science (B. Sc), and Bachelor of Commerce ( B. Com ). The college offers both traditional programmes and programmes designed for honors students, to meet the interests of the students.

Jubilee College, Bhurkunda is a secular institution with an admission policy which is neither sectional or partially biased but merit-based. As for the admission process, the college probably uses the academic calendar of its affiliated university for a particular exam.
