JKK Nattraja College of Pharmacy, Komarapalayam

JKKN College of Pharmacy, or JKK Nattraja College of Pharmacy, was set up in the year 1985 in Komarapalayam, Tamil Nadu. This affiliated college is PCI approved, offering many pharmaceutical programmes. JKKN College of Pharmacy offers customers a well-equipped environment with 559 students enrolled and 59 teachers.

The institute has fifteen courses at four degrees, with specialisations available in pharmaceutics, pharmaceutical chemistry, and pharmacology. The JKK Nattraja College of Pharmacy had a range of facilities of a modern nature to help deliver its academic disciplines.

The campus comprises boys’ hostels and girls’ hostels, fully air-conditioned hostels with Wi-Fi internet connectivity, round-the-clock power supply and other modern facilities. There are CD-ROMs, videos, computer learning packages and other learning resources available in the library, all connected to the intranet of the institute.

Playing facilities for all-round sports for people are provided both indoors and outdoors, and games which are available here are cricket, football, basketball, athletics, etc. The college also offers fine information technology supports, an event /seminar auditorium and an efficient transport service accompanied by 18 college buses, catering for all possible routes.

In all, JKKN College of Pharmacy has a total of 15 courses and programmes available to students; these include full-time undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral, all in the faculty of pharmacy. B. Pharma has a total of 100 seats. Other courses are M. Pharma specialisations, pharmaceutics, pharmaceutical chemistry, pharmacology , pharmaceutical analysis and pharmacy practice. The college also provides Pharm. D.

, Pharm. D. Post Baccalaureate and other Ph. D. programmes in pharmaceutical sciences. Structurally, JKKN College of Pharmacy has laid down admission procedures that will help it enrol deserving candidates for various programmes offered by the institution.

In terms of student support, the institute provides scholarships to its students, and ash, the majority of the students are known to be on one form of scholarship or the other.

JKKN College of Pharmacy is very much into the welfare of students through various scholarships. These are the figures for the academic degree session instituted for 2023: Undergraduate: Out of 400 students, as many as 130 are enjoying reimbursement or scholarships. Postgraduate: For this category, 13 out of 93 received scholarships. Doctoral Level: 30 of 165 students were subsidised or received reimbursements.

The near completion of 2-thirds of the figure to which the JKKN College of Pharmacy accords scholarships for meritorious or economically weak students brings education closer to the reach of many students at JKKN College of Pharmacy.
