Jaya Prakash Narayan College of Engineering, Mahabubnagar

Jaya Prakash Narayan College of Engineering (JPNCE) was set up in the year 1997. It is affiliated college situated in Mahabub Nagar, Telangana. JPNCE is divided over 27. 5 acre of land and it provides 19 courses in 5 disciplines of B. Tech, M. Tech, MBA, MCA and Diploma.

Approved from the All India Council for Technical Education, the institute could accommodate students comprising of 865 and having 184 number faculty members.

The fast-growing first-party sector shows how JPNCE has pledged to offer technical education and studies reflected in specialisations such as the computer sciences sector, electronics and communication sector, the mechanical engineering sector, and even more nascent sectors like artificial intelligence and machine learning sectors.

Jaya Prakash Narayan College of Engineering has several establishments aimed at improving the learning experience of students. The college has kept separate hostels for boys and girls where 197 boys are residing in their hostel and 136 girls residing in their hostel. A good health centre with a medical officer and a health care assistant provides free services to students and members of staff.

Determining the comprehensive growth of the students, the institute possesses well-equipped sports amenities comprising play fields of Basketball, Cricket, Athletics, etc. The IT infrastructure makes possible internet connection throughout the day, thus meeting the student and faculty academic requirements.

Other facilities are a library, a gymnasium, a canteen, air conditioned seminar halls, and internet connectivity is available on the campuses. It provides all the necessary and required courses covering all branches of engineering and all forms of management. Among the 15 courses, JPNCE have offered 6 B. Tech, 1 M. Tech, MBA, MCA and 5 Diploma programmes. The B.

Tech programmes include Civil, electrical & electronics, mechanical, electronics & telecommunication, computer science & engineering, artificial intelligence & machine learning, data science & engineering streams. The total number of intake approved for all the courses is 865, out of total 120 seats each course offered by the college are B. Tech Computer Science and Engineering , MBA and MCA.

The process of admission in JPNCE is mostly done based on entrance. For B. Tech programmes, the college accepts the scores of Telangana State engineering agriculture and medical common entrance test ( TS EAMCET ). For MBA there is Common Management Admission Test ( CMAT ) or The Telangana Integrated Common Entrance Test (TSICET); for MCA TSICET is taken into consideration.

They also guarantee free and merit based admission to qualified students who aspiring to be students in these institutions. The opportunity in this regard is complemented by the Training and Placement Cell of the college that supports the students’ training and career placement horizontal.
