The Jasdev Singh Sandhu Institute of Engineering and Technology Patiala, Punjab, India, was set up in the year 2008 to provide proper engineering opportunities. Located at Kaula, on Patiala Rajpura National Highway, this affiliated college has been preparing engineering professionals for a decade already. The institute has a faculty of 93 committed educators and has a suitable learning atmosphere for its learners.
It boasts itself in offering a complete range of amenities to improve a student’s stay or study process. With most of the needed resources for learning and teaching available in the college, the library, fully equipped with books for academic use, fulfils this need. JSSIET provides a narrow specialisation in engineering courses, all of which are undergraduate degrees.
The institute currently provides eight full-time programmes. The five major disciplines were, Civil Engineering , computer science and engineering, electronics and communication engineering & information technology. These courses are offered to ensure adequate response to emerging challenges within the marketplace and adequate marketability amongst students once placed in the relevant job markets.
