Jamtara College which was set up in 1961 is an recognized college in the district of Jamtara in the state of Jharkhand. This constituent college has been in existent for over six decades offering quality education to students from the society. Jamtara College of Pharmacy and Science is a large college with a 20-acre area of land; it has 22 courses that fall into four categories of degree in its program offerings.

At the moment, the college has the total enrolment of 2,436 and has faculty 11 member faculty to support its programs.
