Jagannath University, Jhajjar

Jagannath University (JNU) came into existence in 2013. The University is established under the Haryana State Legislature Act No. 8 of 2013. It is authorised under Section 22 of the UGC Act 1956 and is a member of the Association of Indian Universities (AIU). The educational institution provides various courses in different disciplines of programmes.

JNU‍‌‍‍‌‍‌‍‍‌ Jhajjar offers various courses through its different departments. These courses are Diploma, UG, PG and Doctoral programmes in the areas of Engineering and Technology, Architecture, Animation and Design , Commerce, Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences and Mass Communication, Physiotherapy, Pharmacy, Agriculture Science, Computer Application and IT and Vocational Studies.

The‍‌‍‍‌‍‌‍‍‌ college has a placement cell as well. All the on-campus events are organised by the JNU Jhajjar placement cell.

Jagannath University is located on State Highway 22, Bahadurgarh-Jhajjar Road. The university is situated in the Jhajjar district of Haryana.

The‍‌‍‍‌‍‌‍‍‌ closest airport is Indira Gandhi International Airport (DEL) in Delhi, which is around 40–60 km from the campus; that is about a 1. 5-hour drive. Besides, the nearest railway station to the campus is Jhajjar Railway Station (JHJ) at a distance of 10 km, and New Delhi Railway Station (NDLS) is approximately 55 km away for long-distance ‍‌‍‍‌‍‌‍‍‌trains.
