The Institute of Technology and Science, Gariaband (ITS Gariaband) is a co-educational institution, that was established in 2006. The institute situated at Gariaband Chhattisgarh is affiliated with Pt Ravishankar Shukla University Raipur. In terms of programmes offered, ITS Gariaband yarnds its academic services across all disciplines in education, science, arts, and commerce stream.

NCTE recognises the institute and NAAC also accredits the institute from the centre QA from the National Council of Teacher Education. The ITS Gariaband is located in a campus area of 0. 766 acres; the college has total intake capacity of 340 students and it has a total faculty of 30 teachers.

Currently, the institute teaches 8 courses offered under 7 different degrees offering specialisations in education, computer applications and general undergraduate programmes. Requires student-friendly ITS Gariaband welcomes learners to a complete package learning environment.

The facilities observed and obtained in Institute of Technology and Science can be aurally used in enhancing the academic and personal development of learning institutions. The institute has provided different levels of education to meet individual student’s preferences. It currently offers diploma offerings 2 and 5 undergraduate programmes and 1 postgraduate programme, 8 courses in total. The full–time undergraduate courses include B. Ed, BA, B. Com. , BCA , and B. Sc.

For those students who dream of taking the diploma courses, the institute offers programmes that include Diploma in Elementary Education (D. El. Ed) as well as a Diploma in Computer Application. At the postgraduate level, its Gariaband offers a year Post Graduate Diploma in Computer Application (PGDCA).

For the D. El. Ed programme, the admission follows marks of the qualifying examination and/or entrance examination under the following government rules and regulations of the state.

In other courses, the institute adopts a merit system where sound performers are considered based on their performance in the previous qualifying examinations.
